Fact for the Day 5
Martina Hingis, was named after the legendary tennis player Martina Navratilova. Her parents, both from Czechoslovakia(the original country of Navratilova before she defected to USA), were professional tennis players. She would have achieved far more, had the injuries not affected her career....

As I m not into sports much, I remember only a few things...I can think of Martina Hingis as a gifted player who achieved a lot at a very young age(when i was 11, she was 16 and at the peak of her career!) ..She hardly lost ,except occasionally to the Williams sisters ...
