There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened- Douglas Adams

2 Questions about Human Nature...
Is not beingbadequivalent to beinggood???
and can vice versa be seen in the same light...???
@Ajay Shrivastava- Sir, that is the whole point..I need the definition of what is good and bad? Lying, drinking, dishonesty etc etc is bad. But does the absence of these make one good? this is something expected from everybody...
another question: is being good to some of the people doesnt mean being bad to others... and can the reverse be seen in the same light...??
the answer perhaps lies in how well we justify our acts... its not possible to be good to all of the people at all of the times. Same goes for being "not bad" and "not good"... so, the answer perhaps lies in how well we justify our acts... not in 'whether our acts are good or bad for others'...
Well, I'd go with what Ajay has posted. You can be dumb and do nothing, and be categorized as neither good nor bad. Don't you think? And the definition of good or bad in itself is kind of subjective. For instance, Robin Hood used to steal, lie and do what not, but was considered a good person wasn't he?
Lets assume :
ReplyDeleteGood = 5 points
Bad = -5 points
If you are NOT bad. you are at 0.
If you are NOT good, you are again at 0.
I hope you got your answer :)
